This Burton Ad was promotion for their latest snowboarding action flick called The B. The left hand page is Adam Moran’s photo of Grilo, Mu and Sorman running a sweet three-way on this snowboard sculpture. The right hand page is a shot of Jack Mitrani from our first day at The B structure.

Nobody had strapped on a snowboard yet as Jack eye’d up this ‘gap over the rail to trannie finder front flip.’ It was definitely sketchy but Jack felt it would be just fine if he gave it a quick speed check with a straight air. With the straight air out of the way and proper speed and pop defined, Mr. Mitrani set down a perfect front flip first try…and check out that style…wow!

As I look back on this session, Jack’s front flip was definitely a motivating factor in getting the crew hyped for a really special session after endless days of rain and waiting. Word up!
