VISO AND SNOW

Snow good, visibility bad, times are great. Still snowing a lot in Tahoe, our schudeled bluebird days were postponed due to more fresh pow, but we took the snowmo’n machines out anyway. A few miles here and there finding out way around the Tahoe backcountry is never a bad time. Returning the sleds to Heath [...]

Tahoe POW

Our first day into the backcountry was definitely good…a late start because of delayed bags didn’t stop us from getting to that powder snow by early afternoon. Keegan and Mikkel’s bags didn’t show up in Reno when they landed last night, so they were promised by 7AM the next morning…additional cups of coffee, a few [...]

801 to 530

After practice night in Park City the call came in to bust outta Utah immediately the next morning. Burton’s chief cinematographer Tim Manning said conditions were all time in Tahoe and I should connect with the Mikkel and Keegan crew that was on their way from Colorado. It’s been a few years since I’ve been [...]

PC PIPE NIGHT

Spent the morning in Ogden with the crew consisting of Sean, Matty, Parker and Mark Dangler at a pre-built location. All I had to do was show up, set up flashes and start shooting…a nice change from hours of building then shooting! Thanks guys!
After a fun filled day in the downtown region, I set the [...]

Frigid Water

With all this swell pounding Hawaii, it was only a matter of time before it made it’s way east and slammed into the west coast. Jason Murray made the pilgrimage up the coast to Half Moon Bay. He was greeted with large swell, cold water and real men who charge real big waves. Check out [...]

Jaws

Hawaii has been bombarded with swell for a few months now. Earlier in the month, Jaws opened up wide. Guys were on it, pulling into beasts they said were the best waves at Jaws they had seen in five years. Our photog Jason Murray was there to document the madness.

Murray heads to Todos

Our good friend and ID-Prints photographer, Jason Murray, recently headed down to Todos Santos for a sizeable swell. He made the journey with a star studded cast of surfers including the Long brothers, Derek Dunfee, and a few of Mexico’s big wave guys. Check out the entire photo gallery here.

Final Grand Prix Olympic Qualifier at Park City this weekend

Park City is hosting the last stop of the final two Grand Prix events this weekend. These last two contests are for pre-qualified riders only! Only snowboarders who have ranked at least one top sixteen result for men and one top eight result for women are eligible for these last two events. There are a [...]

Ogden SLC and Park City

The last couple of days have been adventurous…from the locations to the riding to the injury report. By now you’ve heard about Kevin Pearce and Danny Davis…the picture above is our good friend and shred Alex Andrews, fresh back from the hospital after getting his spleen removed. A fluke snowboarding fall (on a tiny park [...]

Dew Tour Basin

Since Jack, Danny and Lago made the half pipe finals for the Dew Tour, Leyland and I decided to make the trek from SLC to Snow Basin to show support. This was my first time at a Dew Tour contest, so it was interesting to see how a network like NBC runs a snowboarding event [...]
